Rhyan has contributed strategic communications expertise to some of the nation’s most high-profile political campaigns. Most recently, she served as Deputy Director for Vice President Kamala Harris on the Harris for President campaign. Prior to that, she spent three years at the Democratic National Committee, where she played a key role in national and state-level communications as Deputy Communications Director, States Communications Director, and Regional Press Secretary. Rhyan has also served in various communications roles in the Senate campaigns of Jon Ossoff and Jaime Harrison, as well as Jennifer McClellan’s gubernatorial bid.
Rhyan is a Michigan native who grew up outside Nashville, Tennessee. When she’s not working, you can find her catching the latest movie or playing tennis.
